How much longer will last in its present form ? The failure of leadership since 2011 has lead to a nose dive for this sport who has to compete with the finite sponsorship purse world wide. It been unable to attract two further teams on the grid due to capital barriers,media contract handcuffs for sponsors who have simply walked away from teram sponsorship to other sports. Whilst the smaller teams have been unable to compete as the sponsorship monies comming in have not been ditributed uniformly. We are comming to another crunch point when the combustion engine must be replaced by other technologies to meet climate change.The sport finds itself with no chair when the music stops. The latest vacum of leadership has let radical left wing political groups start the corrosive process of exclusion of sponsors, countries, and Brands from been associated with the sport. It is unclear whether Steffio Deminicarli apealsment stile will help this decline. Already he has taken his eye off the ball for the EU legal requirement to introduced quotas for all teams of 5% of severely disabled to be employed at senior level in all teams and suppliers this year and publish in the consolidated balance sheet on how this is going to be acheived in the next twelve months. The European/UK courts could fine promoters of the sport for not complying with this primary legislative requirement which could cancel some races in the European area. The retirement of Frank Williams and Robert Kubica with semmingly no replace of severely disabled replacement candidates has put on the red light to law enforcers and lobby groups. The courts have already warned that the sport must comply with disabled inclusion or risk procecution as they have had ten years to substantially change the sport to comply with the primary legislation. It is pointed out that the blind and severely disabled are the only legally recognised in primary legislation for quotas to be imposed on F1. This is distinct from political lobby groups or lower legislative boddies. How will Steffino and press license holders comply with this primary legislation in the next twelve months after ten years of inaction and deniel?

Wait the question for Alpha Romeo is IF Raikkonen has the pace, but the question for Renault is if the team is good enough for Alonso? Please, that jumped up Spaniard has been retired, no way he is a faster driver than the Iceman.

2021 season feels like a throwaway. Obviously the FIA needed to alter things to create a more competitive field. I’ll enjoy this season, but know everything changes in ‘22.

RB and Mercedes will be fast as standard, McLaren surprisingly fast third place constructor no one can take them. Ferrari faster than last season but still bad, the P4 process (expectations are always high from Ferrari) Aston Martin failed for now, I thought it would be far faster (my personal opinion). Alpina's dispute, I think it will be where Ferrari was last year, I would not be surprised if Alfa Romeo is better than them. William and Haas bad by default .. ATauri interesting will very much be able to surprise everyone when things go well after all, maybe I'm totally wrong, who am I so that I know everything .... we know after Barcelona what the situation is.

At Alfa the drivers aren't the issue. Too many times the teams pit stops or strategy has failed them.

I think Alfa Romeo will properly be in the midfield this year. The car was already great last year when it comes to handling, aerodynamics and downforce, and was only let down by the Ferrari engine. With that problem gone AND the nose vastly improved, the car could well beat other midfield teams.

haas has no worries they did nothing to their car. they are exactly where they want to be, last place write it in stone

Aston Martin worried that corporate interference and more money actually makes them worse. McLaren worried that their great car is let down by slow pit stops or strategy mistakes. Mercedes worried about how to make room in their HQ for yet another championship winning car.

5 years ago it would be unthinkable for any F1 Journalist to say that "last year Alpha Tauri had a car capable of beating Ferrari to 6th in the constructors championship"....

Given that McLaren didn’t go for some speed runs on soft tires on the last day, we don’t really know much about the Red Bull/McLaren speed comparison. There are lots of rumors that McLaren was surprised by being quicker than they expected on the first two days and chose to sandbag the last day. It does explain why they didn’t put softs on and were happy to collect data on harder compounds.

Those experiences cost up to 8000 FOR A WEEKEND.. you get to play hard.. those were paid actors before covid but believe it’s still like that. Plus this year you will need proof of test of not being positive to enter, or be vaccinated in a lot of venues.
